Natalie Townsend founded NorthRock to create a new long term capital source for outstanding management teams of small to mid-sized companies in Canada. She has over 26 years of private equity, investment banking and operational experience. Previously, she was President of TD Capital and Vice Chair of TD Securities. At TD Capital, she was actively involved in investing in small to mid-market companies and ultimately in leading and building the organization to manage over $2.5 billion of committed capital across five different private equity and mezzanine funds. She also has 6 years of operational finance and risk management roles in companies located in the USA and Canada. She was recognized as one of Canada's "Top 40 Under 40" award winners and as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Canada by the Financial Post. Ms. Townsend received her M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and her B.Sc (finance) magna cum laude from Boston College. She also graduated from the Rotman/Institute of Corporate Directors Corporate Governance College.
