Jim has over 35 years of operational, private equity, turnaround, and entrepreneurial experience. He is currently CEO of Canadian Venture Capital Corporation, a private equity investment company. He has been an active private equity investor and Chairman and/or CEO in over 20 successful mid-market corporate turnarounds, including the successful turnaround of Bakor where he was Chairman and CEO for 6 years. Previously, he was President and CEO of TriCentral Acquisition Corporation and Triarch Corporation. He gained additional private equity and financial experience at TD Capital Group and RoyNat. Mr. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Commerce, University of Ottawa and an MBA from McMaster University.
